Default Anyone ever tested a fuel pump?

I've got one that is possibly going out, but I am running a dual setup and would like to be sure. I was thinking about just replacing them both but then I would also like to know which one to keep as a spare.

Yep. I did it very unscientifically, just ran it straight from 12 volts next to a known good one.

If it is intermittently failing, probably wouldn't help, and I wouldn't run it for long as its cooled by the fuel, but it's a start.

I think you can actually send them to walbro (assuming that's what you have) and they will test them.

get rid of them cheap pumps man.

But you can test them run both for a min at free flow and see witch one moves more fuel.

What would you suggest for an intank pump? I thought of that but I'm not sure if pressure is going to have anything to do with it. It would be a complete pain to rig up something to run each one individually thru the fpr.

Nice piece but I have mine mounted already and have been running it for a year. The 2nd to last post in that thread says they will not be making them for anything but the walbro pumps.

the Bosch 044 pump is what I went to. Its worth your while to get a good pump and you might be able to take it back to just one pump. But if you still need dual here is two 044's in a FD tank for you.

here are my threads on this pump.
Where to get Bosch fuel pumps?

New Fuel setup!!!

This pump with go to like 6 bar so its up to the task of a 4 bar setup with boost.
