| I got the car all up and started, but think i'm having a few problems. My CEL is on, car idles fine, but tends to want to stall out when there is extra load on the engine, such as turning (i hooked up ps) or coming to a stop (braking). I installed a 228r cam, and have NOT enlarged the TB. While driving i'm get lots of vibrations, and sometimes it feels like something is either banging against something else or the motor is stumbling. its hard to tell, as i am running with open headers right now and the damn thing is so loud! any CEL's i should look for or anything else i should check? should i drill the TB? I know i can figure these all out in time, but i have to drive to Orlando this weekend, and want to get her running as well as possible before i leave. Thanks. Harrison |

| Anyone with tuning software (or a dealer) can do a crank sensor relearn (also called a "CASE learn". It's worth a shot at any rate.

| yay! i had like 16 trouble codes!!! i'm guessing they are all from the open headers, and the o2 sensors being so close to the air (JTR's). all the codes were evap, o2 sensors, misfire etc, which leads me to beleive the 02 sensors are making the motor go nuts. car is at the shop getting the exhaust done right now. |

| ok, so i got my exhaust done and many things are fixed. i still have 10 codes, but everything is listed twice, so really i probably have about 5. can anyone give me some insight on how what they are from and how to take care of them? clutch switch (which i don't care about, but how do i bypass this code?) evap codes (how do i get rid of these? a tune?) random misfire (i'm guessing this is due to my cam?) thanks for the input. |
