Default Sooo close to starting

I tried to start the car today for the first time but my fuel pump isn't turning on. I"ve checked the wiring and the grounds and everything looks good so i'm just gonna hardwire it. What's the best way to wire the fuel pump up bypassing the computer?

Thanks
Kyle

you should probably figure out why the pump doesnt run instead of bypassing the computer. its a very good idea to have the pcm control the pump in case of a crash or whatever. using a multimeter and you should be able to figure out what the problem is very easily, as there are only a couple wires involved.

all the wires are good, triple checked. the m/f just wont come on when I turn the key. the car is just a drive it to race it vehicle now anyways so i'm fine with a little lost safety. Any diagrams?

well theres one thign left to do before you rewire everything. take a 12v wire and a ground wire (just tape a wire to the 12v battery post or something) and stick the two on the fuel pump itself. see if it works at all. my first walbro didnt work strait outta the box, so i swapped it for another.
thats the same way i tested my injectors when my car wouldnt start.

yea try powering it directly, if it dont work then check the connections in the tank on the pump and make sure the ground is good
if they are you may have a bad pump

If you used the instructions from Granny's on how to wire the fuel pump it is hooked up wrong. Go buy a $4 relay, figure out which wire is which with a multimeter and hook it up that way. Far easier than using the stock mazda relay.
