Always glad to help out. They will argue forever.

Just give up.

I'm a proud rotary RX-7 owner, but I respect those who put V-8s into the RX-7 chassis.
Unfortunately some people are not as open minded as I am.

It's like the old Ford vs. Chevy debate. Most people don't care, and some are so prejudiced one way or the other that they can't listen to reason anymore.

Most RX-7 owners and forum members are reasonable, but a small few are argumentative, and will continue to bad-mouth piston engines forever, no matter what you say.

One thing that those folks are missing is that most "us" (the people who have put V-8s in their Mazdas) have a very thorough understanding of the Mazda and all of it's sub-systems. We might just be a good source of helpful information about all other aspects of the car...... (well not me but some of the people here )

yep, I'm "CozmoRX7" on that forum, have been there along time...
wonder how long i'll stay a mod of some of the sections after I get my swap more "out there" heh heh.
MazdaDrifter is very close minded on the subject... he'll keep holding on to his "prove it to me" stuff forever...

I just signed up to this site, and I'll have to admit, it's AWESOME!

I am a moderator at Teamfc3s. I love the RX-7, and the Rotary. I own two RX-7's. I own an 89 TII, and an 87 NA Sport. I will stick up for the Rotary, although a V-8 In an RX-7 is just faukin cool.

I'm currently building up my 89 TII to compete with V8GoKrt when he gets his V-8 7 done this summer.

I don't have a problem with people that buy RX-7's that are trashed, and are waiting on the car crusher in the junkyard. I think it's cool that you guys are saving these cars, and keeping them on the road, regardless of what kind of engine they have.
What I don't like to see, is people that take perfectly good RX-7's that have rotary engines in them, and rip out the engine to put a V-8 in. I don't think thats cool at all. Lets face it, there are only so many Rotary Powered RX-7's on the road! I'd like to keep em rotary powered as long as possible! But when the time comes, and she eats an apex seal, so be it. It's time for the V-8 Swap, IF FUNDS DON'T ALLOW another rotary.

Who am I to tell you what to do with YOUR car anyway?! I'm open minded, and I'll support you either way.

I'll keep the thread open as long as I can, but if you have something to say, then please be nice about it.

Thanks!!!!

Brandon
