Default V8 AND turbo ?

any one else here plan on doing this, or already have this done?

I'm helping a friend do a swap in to his 1995 RX7 (my current swap I am building for me is an S13.5 with and LS1/T56) I figured two swaps cant hurt..

his car has been sitting, stripped with no intentions of putting it back together after the rotary blew almost FIVE years ago now. the car was making about 550whp with a Greddy T78 on the POS 1.3

any ways.. got him back interested in the car, and very interested in doing the V8, but he wants crazy power out of it, and wants to use the T78, which i KNOW these engines can handle, its just where the hell do you put the turbo in this car ???? haha

just looking to see pictures of anyones single turbo set up if they got them..
the car we are building will have a 6.0 liter truck engine (LQ9) with a T56 few upgrades to the valve train like springs and retainers, and some massive injectors

No way dude. You can do one or the other, but not both - it would just be waaay too much. It might stop time or reverse the earth's rotation, or even send you back in time if you step on it too hard. Craziness.

Listen to speedfab. A turbocharged V8 isn't really possible.

Only if you launch it at 88mph, and then you might end up making out with your mom, possibly becoming your own dad.

I wouldn't chance it.

wow this forum isnt some full of the biggest toolbags i've ever seen

just trying to get some input on where the fuck people are mounting the single turbo set up, seeing as the reverse truck manifold set up wont work on these because there isnt enough room and id like to have the same length from each bank to the turbo flange...

Im not sure where you get off calling anyone a toolbag with 5 posts. This forum is the most informative swap forum ive ever seen. If you would of done a search instead of asking a question that has already been answered you would know that there a multiple turbo V8 cars on this site and one in particular is doing his build right now and using truck manifolds. It can be done, is being done and will be done. Anything is posible.
