| Yeah I know it's cheap but it's so cheap that maybe it's worth a try? ![]() eBay Motors: 97-02 Chevy LS1 Camaro Z28 SS & Firebird Turbo Kit (item 260313551484 end time Nov-19-08 16:11:24 PST) eBay Motors: Turbo Kit 97-02 Chevy LS1 Camaro Z28 SS & Firebird V8 (item 150309818768 end time Dec-13-08 09:08:22 PST) eBay Motors: Turbo Kit 97-02 Chevy LS1 Camaro Z28 SS & Firebird V8 (item 230302309068 end time Nov-19-08 07:46:29 PST) |

| I wouldn't. I know a guy that bought one, and literally the first time he started his car up...smoke everywhere. The oil seals were bad out of the box. It's tempting, sure, but not worth wasting your money.

| I would stay away, The turbo looks like china made knock off, the seals are the first to go, the turbo shafts are not balanced. and more than likely will brake. The manifolds are made with a thinner grade metal, prone to cracking. They sell the same Junk for honda/acura. A Decent turbo like a t-61 garrett will cost around $1000. I would just hold out and keep saving and buy something worth while, weather you buy a complete kit or peice one together. You are going to alot happier in the long run. |

| The cheaper way is almost ALWAYS more expensive...

| Completely ignoring the price, I don't see that coming anywhere near fitting an FC or FD. Too low, pipes in the wrong places, etc. Sorry, turbo LSx RX7 = roll your own.

| that price is probably right... the quality is probably wrong. Those pipes are very cheap to make (from china) The manifolds are probably way too thin to deal with the heat they'd see. Turbo's from china are hit or miss... some companies are catching up in the quality arena, most are not though... And the rest of the parts you'd need to have a running turbo'd car would cost more than that kit anyway
