Default DAMN IT It must be time to stay at home.

I was just bragging about having over 2500 miles on my conversion and having it NEVER put me down.

This moring I when maybe 10 miles and the upper rad hose sprug a leak. Luckly I did make it back home uneventfully. Never got over 190.

Well I when to AutoZone and went thru all there hoses till I found one I thought would work.

Went back home and installed. Thank goodness for the F250 that just sits most of the time now. Now the damn thing wants to run a little warmer than it always has. It likes it about 210 now. Not happy with that at all.

But still it is running again. So I head out again this time about 20 miles from the house it suffers a burst trans cooler line. Gee that made alot of smoke.. :yup:

Well I had to do it... I called the wife to pick us us to get the trusted F250 again this time with a trailer. Well it is still on the trailer in the back yard. I have not yet found the problem hose.

FYI in Memphis today it was 101.6, and yes the a/s was on the whole time.

Moral of the story is I will NEVER NEVER brag about uneventful miles on my conversion again.

Told the wife I would just leave it in the backyard on the trailer till I wanted to fool with it again. She told me " I guess you will be working on it by Monday at the latest" Gotta love that kind of woman... :yeah:

Or rotary power for that matter. :stick:

In reguards to your thread. I have a superstition about what you have described. I never say never (except while in that phrase, then its ok ) and there isnt ever just "one last time" I cannot re member the ammount of injuries i have gone through shortly after that famous phrase. Others i know can testify to that as well. After i realized this issue as funny as that sounds, problems have gone away. Provided i watch what i say or what words/phrases i use. All my freinds know what i mean when i say, just a few more times. Some say its all in the head. I dont know where else it could be, but i swear by and many others do too!!!
Also, nothing i own ever runs perfect or flawlessy. Or at least i wont say it does even if it runs 8.00s and gets 35mpg. LOL. Granted within that day some shit will happen one way or the other with whatever i may have spoke of. Its been too consistant in my life and seems to prove itself over and over again...
