Default Some 1/8th times with surprising results...

Car is basically un-tuned with Windsor Jr heads, UDP's, RPM intake, Holley 650 4bbl, 1.6rr's, and no acessories. I ran with no rear sway bar, but the front was attached. Basically the exact oposite of the way it should have been. This was also full interior.

60' 1.938
1/8th 8.716
MPH 80.813

Not bad for 185/60/14 all season tires. I was really amazed at the 60' times. I'm still having clutch problems. All my runs the clutch would start slipping at the top of 3rd. I think I may have a leaky rear seal. Add that to the long list of parts of the motor that are leaking. I think I'm going to tear it down and rebuild it with a cam, shorties, and some GT40X aluminum heads. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. I personally think this is a very good start.

I think it is a great start.
You are running the same times I average but I run Nitto DR's and still have problems cutting a sub 2.00 60ft.
Get it tuned and the clutch lined out and you should pull a low 8.
The 1st Gens seemed to hook better on the line than the 2nd gens. Due to IRS?
Anyway good job
Jim

Considering my 82 GS traps about 80 mph through the quarter, I think those are pretty good times to start, for sure!

What do the calculators convert that to in 1320 terms? I am completely unfamiliar with 1/8 times...

it's somewhere between 13.6 and 13.8
with estimated hp around 260 crank.

That's a lower than I had been hoping for but about what I expected after driving the car. Basically it's a high 13 second car right now, but it has a lot of problems that need to be sorted out. I should also mention this car is being built as a track car, not a drag car. So it's not getting the most ideal set up possible.
