Alive and on the streets. :)

I went out to play tonight. The car feels like it's running really well. I still have to work out an intake and finish up some wiring details, but she's alive.

rotaries are fun, but the v8 in the 7 is a blast. Power everywhere and the car is still balanced. I was worried about the feel of the car and so far I can't really tell a difference. I Like :yeah:

One thing's definately different. I didn't have that "is it going to pop?" thought in the back of my head. What a relief.

Do you have an exhaust on it? I gotta check it out.

The only thing better than one v-8 RX is two.

hehe, I still live through that everyday I drive my car. Constantly watching the temp gauge, worry about over boosting, fuel, etc. I haven't been able to drive in peace for years in it. On the track in this 100+ degree weather, I spend my whole time worring about what this trip is going to cost me.

I was debating with myself this weekend (again!) on which way to go since I am in need of a rebuild soon. I could spend half the money and rebuild my 13B to 400hp, but one little mistake and it'll cost $3000 again. Or go for the peace of mind and spend a little more. (Pretty confident I'm going the LS1 route this time.)

You guys keep me inspired!

Glad you got in on the road, it seems so far away for me at this point. I still need to fab my radiator mounts. I know that when I get done, I wont have to worry about it "popping". Hehe.

thanks.. it is running pretty well. I can't wait to make the cold air intake and do some tuning. I got on it in front of sterbator on the way home and he said it smelled really rich. I'd like to take some of the rotary guys for a ride so they can grasp the feel of the car. I love the instant torque. My friend Eric said there is a rotary meet coming up. Tony and I may have to hit it and let them check the cars out.
