Default 13B might be getting ready to go...maybe LS1 soon!!

My rotary started showing the signs of a seal going today. Looks like I might be having exhaust in my coolant. I'll be taking a closer look later this week to see how bad it is.

The sooner it goes the sooner I go with an LS1! I don't think I've ever been so excited for my engine to go!

Maybe LS1 powered by the end of the year after all! hehe

if you want it gone so bad take the working 13b out and sell it to some rotary guy to of set the cost of the LS1!!

Dont wait for it to blow get rid of it when you can get some decent $$ for it.

Mike

There's more to it than that. Its a warranty issue. I'm doing all I can not to "help" it along. It is due to go, and is starting to show the signs now anyway.

I wish my rotary had a warranty on it. I bought my RX7 off of eBay and the description was "needs apex seals." This wouldn't have been so bad if the rotor and housing weren't warped and missing chunks from the seal eating itself alive...

That is the same way my v8 project started. except I swore it has an overheat problem, so 1 radiator, water pump,t-stat, rad hoses and electric fan would not fix the problem a V8 did!!! Keith

overheat problem was probally a blown water seal between the plate and the housing. I have a extended port 12a that shoots compression through the radiator. Luckily i have another first gen with a v8 for a toy. And my first rotary shot chunks of the apex seal out the exhaust i found it in the manifold when i removed the motor. i pull started it peices of the seal in there belive me those where some trashed housings and rotors.
