Angry Was I out of line here?

http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthr...85#post2039985

Please give me your honest opinions. Seems to me they are getting more touchy over there these days but then again it could just be me. Thanks.

Unhappy Mr. Advice

Toughguy.........why even get started over there? We all know that suggesting a swap, stands the hair up on the back of everyones neck.
I've owned stock RX7's and they are ok cars..no dought, but most of these guys will NEVER drive a well built asskicking converted 7. Shit, most guys that think they can drive well and wring out a car to it's true potential, have never even been on a race track. The big hang-up with the 50/50 weight distribution is fu'd when you put a driver in the car!..............Anyhow, yea you did get a little out of hand, but so what? You where pissed off. Remember,
do'nt respond when you are angry..........just like being married!

Sermon is over........ Ray

Sounds like something I did ONCE!! LOL I went over to the TurboFord guys and asked about swaping in a big block in a turbo coupe. Lets just say I was not very welcome at all....LOL...It was some funny shit....They got over it...And I promised not to go back and ask swap questions....

I ended the debate and still guys are posting useless crap. I'm just making fun of it though. I wonder how long they will persist?

Hey Toughguy
You meant well, I can see that, just the typical territorial reaction from them.
Looks like the thread has ended on a positive note; Differences were settled and the poster got good info all the way around.
As Ray said, you can't save them all.
I am just so glad that WE have a board of our own to discuss this topic.
Jim

Yeah, they worship the rotary over there. Sometimes they see Integra in my handle and assume that I don't own my FC. Then they proceed to talk smack. Most of them know me by now but there is always a feisty one from time to time. I have found that there is about 10% usable techincal information there and 90% noise, unless you count the endless stream of newbie questions being answered.
