Unhappy need to make a purchase

Hey guys I am new here so I will tell you a little story so that you will all understand where I am comming from...
Once upon a time there was young man who loved imports so he was aiming to buy himself an mr2 and order a jdm motor. After a few months of looking for a car and adding up costs of building an import to take to the track the young man came to the decision that his sleek import racer was going to cost him more than he would make in the next year. The young man was depressed at his discovery, but he soon met up with a wise man who told him of a first generation rx7 that had once held an chevy 350. The young man did not understand why anyone would want to put a domestic engine into anything, then he woke up one day and it just made sense. Import + lots of money = ok power, while Domestic + little money = omg power to go sideways with. So he saved for the rx7 he had been told of, but it had already been sold so now he is lost...

lol i dont know if you guys understood anything about that story, but basically ive finally come to my senses and i am looking for a first or second generation rx7 to put some power into, can anyone help me?

What motor are you planning to run? Rao`s car has an LT1 and a T56. It would be hard to beat for the price he is asking. Hey Rao, will you take $5000 CDN?

Thanks Toughguy - the motor and tranny alone are worth $5,000 with all the new parts.

I would take $7,000 Canadian for it
