OUCH!!! At least it was not me that said that

Times from the 1st trip to the track with a new setup means nothing. Use it as an indication to understand where the car needs improvement.

I'm really feeling like a dumbass for not changing that clutch while my engine/trans was sitting on the floor for a month. Now I have to change it while it's in the car.

Yup thats what test and tune is all about.
ID, you going to Reynolds? Would like to see you run. Times should be better after a clutch swap.
Your car is probably still a second faster than mine in the 1/4.

They tell me 17,000 so about the same as you. Mines not too far from stock. I really regret not changing mine out when it was sitting on the garage floor for a month.

I really have to drive it hard to get it to slip!

Default Stock LS1 clutch

My motor had 22k on it and I also was thinking about installing a beefier clutch, the stocker is working fine as is.

What 60ft. time and MPH did you have to go along with that 12.7, I also ran a 12.7 on my first trip to the track. MPH was pretty good though.
