Default Can someone explain this ?

What is the purposed of the "ricer fly by." Let me set up the situation for you:

Ricer baits you into racing. You proceed to hand ricer his ass putting like 5 car lengths on him without shifting gears. Everyone knows you beat him including his mom. Then in a single act of bumblebee powered might he buzzes by you at like 100mph after you've settled back to a sane legal pace.

Is there a sane explaination for this or will it go down as a mystery? In the same vein as what is the meaning of life? Is there a god? And why in the hell would someone put a giant wing on the rear of a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE 80hp automatic Del Sole?

You're trying to approach a subject logically when that subject defies logic.

I chalk it up to them not having the common sense God gave a gnat...

Many of them actually think they are starting to beat you. Typically it's best to touch the brake pedal so you're tail lights stay lit. When friends and I race our daily drivers goofing off, ricer flybye's are common practice.

For instance yesterday, my room mate was driving a 5.4 ford pickup and instigated a race with my 4.7 dodge 1500. He put a half a car on me, but when he let out I passed him with my "M4D tOP 3Nd" and hit the flasher signifing that I won the race.

Hahaha.

Is it even considered racing when it's against a ricer? I mean a 2 second pull in one gear isn't really getting nutty?

I had two back to back yesterday. One loud ass Prelude from a stop in the M3. I put an F'n freight train length on him by like 60. Then the best part he got right on my ass to run though an exit to show is great roadholding ability... Predule != M3 around corners.

#2 was a fly Integra from 50 to 90 in the RX. You can imagine the results of that one. I got a good fly by out of it.
