I need a date for SNS09. No, I already have a wife, I mean a day of the week, month, a place would be nice. It is necessary to place my vacation bids in before Nov. 25th so someone please take some action on this.

I missed SNS 08 because of this and I would like to attend SNS 09. Sounds like a repeat of last year would be great. Looking forward to embarrassing a few LS1's at the strip with my old school FC. LOL, I wish. Thanks, Jim.

most of you are far from jersey but i could get a day/rental at atco drag strip for all the members ,its like $3000 for the day usually 15 guys and 200 a peice ..we could get a club rental and just split the difference ..its nice to have a day to try different things and dial your car in ..i have a rental monday the 17th ..its a ton of fun ..
but where ever its at i think a rental would be great .although i cant participate in road coarse races due to the wheely bars he!he!....
but this year im in ,,last year got all f-ed up with family crap ..

Why cant we do sns9 in hernando. I have been wanting to do something with the v8rx7 crew and not driving more than a few hundred miles from new orleans would be great.

If anyone is at all interested in SE louisiana, then let me just throw out what we have to offer.
1. No Problem Raceway No Problem Raceway Park 45 min. from n.o roadrace and dragrace
2. Gulfport Dragway Car Racing in Gulfport, Mississippi at Gulfport Dragway 1 hour from n.o. dragrace only
3. Hubcity Dragway HUB CITY - Home Page 1.5 hours from n.o. dragrace only
4. New Orleans has the french quarter for endless entertainment, lots and lots of hotel rooms. If you need cheaper ones you can go 30 min outside to Slidell, Covington, Hammond areas
5. If done in the summer we can go to the beaches of Gulfport which are mediocre but a hell of a place to hang out, bbq, etc....
6. There are two car shows in Biloxi. June = Scrapin the Coast (mostly bagged, bodydropped trucks but the show is diversifying) October = Cruisin the Coast (huge classic car show)
7. Anybody like casinos?? New orleans and biloxi have them
8. New orleans has the best food in the country, period. WE ARE FAT FOR A REASON
9. International Beer Tasting in early June N.O.
10. Last but not least.......There are quite a few people that are around here bbeasley, l8apex, gearsandcrosses. There are also a few brothers who built my first car who have a few v8rx7s fc's and fd's that I could get to show. I think it would be well attended.
