I will attend wherever SNS '09 is, but please keep in mind, Putnam park roadcourse here in Central Indiana is $6000 per day. $6000 is a ton of money, we had lots of guys that said they were coming to Indy in '08 that did not show. We also had guys that showed that did it on a shoe string budget, remember the ones that slept in my storage room. We would have had to pay in advance to reserve the day. I would be dissappointed if I paid the deposit and had to eat a big chunk of that, and thats why we did not have a road course event in '08. Furthermore, the rain, a rain date would be impossible with the distances many of you drove. I would like to attend a road course day, but as for us planning our own, I do not think that it is possible. This is the reason why we had SNS '08 on the day that we did. We all got to watch drag racing and road course, and some of us got to drag race, but if we want a road course event then I doubt that it will be in Indy. Additionally, the event that we had in '08 took a ton of planning, I cannot plan an event any bigger by myself, and I suggest that if another club member wants to try it that he has lots of help lined up first. I would be willing to pay an additional amount, probably not more then $2-$300, but keep in mind that it is a down turned economy and many club members are struggling to stay on top of their financial responsibilities. When I hosted SNS, I concentrated on getting the most I could out of the money that we had, keeping it inexpensive so everyone could attend.

As previously mentioned, what's our cost per head on a VIR type deal? And what for the rest of the weekend? Whatever we're going to do, it's definitely "let's sit down and plan" time. Since I live ~12+ hours away from VIR, I'm not very helpful in planning.

I'm all up for watching some racing but I really don't want to tow my car, and I'm not going to race without having a way to tow it home. Thats why I didn't drag in 08, and likely why I won't be racing at all. But I will watch you guys!
