Default Sonic Blue Widebody LS2... getting closer.

Well, i'm getting it running with the LS2 using the electronic pedal. Probably going with a LG 3x cam and JTR headers, and a 100 shot just because.

Once the engine is running, i'm putting the KD burnout kit on (very suttle just wider fenders and efini type bumper); then it's getting painted by me.... which will be an adventure.

I got the engine pulled which i'm going to sell, did a compression test and both rotors were over 110psi.

The engine was rebuilt 30k miles ago. I have receipts for the engine/tranny rebuild that is pretty much what I paid for the car. Roughly 7500.

If anyone knows how much I should put this up for on rx7club let me know. Complete engine other than the few things I need to keep. Tranny is an auto but still has 1.5 year warranty on it. Is $2750 too much?

The tranny is in the garage but I didnt buy it with the LS2, tranny is out of an 02 transam. I got the ls2 off of FPARTS on ebay. It's a salvage yard in philly that specializes in only corvettes.

Looks good man. You know you will have to do something about that alternator?

Yeah, I remember reading something along the way. Do you know of the thread that ecountered that problem? I've been looking and can't find it. I was just 'eyeing' it up the other day and it seems like it would be fine. Only thing I could think of is something with the hood clearance.

If not i'll just relocate it down to where the GTO's alternator if possible. I'm also taking the A/C compressor off; I figured i went 2 years without it in the mustang I can manage; so maybe I can move it down there somewhere, custom make some kind of bracket.

Hey, sorry to be off subject but what kind of rims do you have on your car? They are beautiful. Thanks, Mark.

Stock wheels are on the car.???

You would need the F-body alternator brackets so that it sits lower.

RoJa's 18X10R X9F

It's been so long since I've looked at a thread about it. But with the Hinson kit my oil fill cap rubs the hood. So it may be hood or the inner fender or both.
