Any FB LS1 projects going? - V8 RX-7 Forum

I have a LS1 and a good condition 82 RX7. The urge to combine them is overpowering. There are few if any LS1-FB swaps as far as I can tell. If you know of, or have done this swap, please help! I have welders & decent fab tools in my garage, but "Easy" is always good when it come to any project right? My first question:
Is there a place to buy motor mount kit and possibly headers? Or should I just buy a noose ?

I'm trying to build the lightest car possible, and like the early FB.

my buddy did the swap couple years back there is no motor mounts you have to do them your self customize the oil pan to fit around the steering arm..dont have to but its the easiest way...check it out in the link if you want

I appreciate the info. Any idea what the car weighs, and what he did for headers?

some were from 2100-2300 and i think he got some one to make custom headers
