Default My 2001 S15 Spec R LS7 build thread - fun times

Ok so I decided to start one of these threads. I really never have in the past because all my builds take a long time and i forget to get pics along the way etc etc.. So This time I will actually try and do it each step of the way.. Its going to take a lil more time than normal since the car is up in seattle. I go up there every other weekend or so.. I will be putting in a LS7. Right now its ready for Justin Elin at Position 1 racecraft to do the stitch weld and full cage.. Anyway here is the start of the build.. Started it like 2 weeks ago.. I am hoping the cage / stitch weld will be done by the end of this month.. Than hoping to have the motor in by the end of the next month.. Like I said going to be a semi slow build.. But enjoy...

The beginning:

What about a v10 or v12? or a W-16? J/K I know what you meant.

Looks like a clean body, should make a great swap. Look forward to seeing the progress.

the motor had nothing wrong with it.. only had lil over 20k miles on it.. I already sold it. Thanks though..

The body is very clean. I had a brand new paintjob about 9 months ago now I think.. But I will be putting a vertex 50mm widebody on it and get new paint.. Its going to be built inside and out... Pretty much a full on track car that I will drive in the summer on the weekends or cruising..
