hey dudes,

I am very new to this domestic stuff.
I've heard about this LS1 swap way back.

With this forum kinda help me jump into this "mess".

I have work on a lot on import motors but ever since i started getting
in to this,
I have been visting sites like ls1tech and also V8rx7.

I guess I,ll have to dye my bold head blonde so I can work on LS1's lol.

Man, I can just imagine at least (minimum) 305 ft-lbs of torque starting at 2000 rpm.
My wife would be pissed-off "again" for wasting a lot of tires.

She was so happy I got rid of my turbo IS300, and now here I go Again.

Later guys.

I'm Asian, so it's pretty funny.

The guys around my area are mostly into imports (Evos, STIs, 240s, etc) so they were kinda "shocked" when they heard that I switched over to a domestic engine. Perhaps I should grow a mullet now.

I kinda suspected you were. (from your video).

I was goona reply a white/black guy on an RX-7.
Hey guys don't get mad.

As far as FD, I just got a hold of my old freind w/ an FD. He first question was why!!!!!!?
He told he has 4 built rotary motor, He would have gave one to me.

He has been looking for a shell for 2 years. I got lucky found mine in a month.
I just found another shell for him for 4500 (it has 1JZ on it, not running).

He was very surprised, coz I work on a lot of 2jz, SR's and mostly japanese cars.

When people walked-in to the shop, seeing a wrecked camaro, saying
whats going-on. No disrespect to the domestic guys.

I guess I will find out as soon as the car is done, hopefully I would like it.

I think you will find the LS1 is easy to work on. Looks like you have a great shop and work area! That and the great info you will find here will get you into the "mess" for sure!
