I'm back.. this time doing a LSx/T-56 FC

Hello again. Its been a long time since Ive posted here, as a matter of fact I think its my 1st post since the switch over from torquecentral. Anyway, I had sold my '94 R2 a while ago that I was in the process of swapping. Now that Im able to begin a project again, Im doing the same, only looking for an FC now. There were a few considerations I took into account in picking the FC over the FD this time around, 1st is cost.. even a decent roller FD will run 5-7k, whereas I can pick up a nice FC with a blown engine for $1k or less usually. Secondly, and probably the thing that swayed me the most, is that I will be using this car mostly for drag racing, and with granny's solid axle kits available now, thats the way to go. Plus my 1st Rx-7 was an FC, and Ive owned/build/parted out probably about a dozen of them, so I know the cars inside and out. No current pics as Im still looking for the donor car, but I will be posting regularly with tons of pics as I go. I plan on completely stripping the car, repaint, then install. For now Im thinking a LS2 with L98 heads/L76 intake, shooting for 475RWHP N/A on pump gas.

Swap looks nice, good luck! I see youre doing a S5 T2, I just almost bought a GTUs.. but Im really looking for a S4 car with no sunroof, and for the manual belts instead of power ones. I want this car to be as light as possible.
