I'd think it wouldn't even be worth your trouble to worry about it. Seems like someone could take their car to a shop and tell them to cut out a notch and weld a plate in for not much more than $50, and it would guarantee fitment with minimal rigidity compromise.

The apexi series are some of the biggest exhausts. I know the the GT series is anyway. the only thing bigger than that would be the hks ti, or something custom. everything else should fit fine, as everything else uses ~3in piping.

Update. This is a very quality peice, top notch construction, and the fitment was great.

I did however have to grind down part of my diff. it seemed the casting on my diff at the PPF alignment hole was sticking out a bit, so i just grinded it down, and now everything fits perfect.

Thanks again justin.

The rear end kit should of come with replacement bolts for the lower diff mount. You use them after pulling out the studs. That great if managed to get it on with out doing this.

I run Justin's rear cradle without the exhaust cutout. I ran my exhaust just under the bar. There is plenty of clearance at the back of the car. I don't have pics of the exhaust (I'll get some one day), but it isn't a problem.

I didn't get the replacement bolts, but i did get the bracket on. I am having some trouble getting the rest of the holes lined up, but its getting there slowly. i know at least one hole is crossthreading, and i can't seem to get it to fit in correctly. a bit frustrating, but whatever. The peice is still very nice!

Take the mount back off. Remove the two lower studs using two nuts to jam them together. If the studs aren't removed you will never get the mount on. Do it this way and the mount will fit perfectly. You will not need to grind anything. I will ship you all new hardware today.

Default Stud removal

You must replace the studs with these two bolts.
