Default Direct Port Nitrous + Progressive + Standalone Fuel System

SOLD!!!!

Hey all,

I'm selling my nitrous setup to go turbo...

It's currently hard lined for a Typhoon Intake.

Typhoon Intake (85 mm)

8x NOS Fogger 2 (plume style) nozzles
Dynotune hardlines
2x NOS Pro Race Nitrous Noids
2x NOS Cheater Fuel Noids
4x NOS angle style distribution blocks
2x 15 Lbs Bottles
Dynotune automatic Bottle Heater
-6 lines from the rear to front
NOS purge
FJO Progressive Controller
1 Gallon JAZ fuel cell
-8 Line from fuel cell
Holley Blue Low Pressure Fuel Pump (for nitrous fuel system)
Fuel Regulator (for nitrous fuel system)
Underhood pressure gauge (nitrous fuel system)

If someone wants to come get it, I have one full bottle, I can't ship it that way, so.

This system is capable of ~175 - 450 HP shots, and I have 3-4 sets of jets (complete sets) that I believe are for 175, 225, 275 and 325 horsepower.

Without intake: 1200 dollars
With intake: 1500 dollars

You can't even get close to putting this together for that price.

Things I need:

Wastegate
BOV
Denso fuel pump(s)
LS6 intake (if someone buys my Typhoon, otherwise I'll plug the direct ports and use it)
Methanol System

I already have the turbo and I/C, so no need for those.

Bump, I posted this up on LS1tech also.

Someone buy this, it's a hell of a nitrous setup...

Pick it up and I'll throw in 5 gallons of 100 octane Klotz racing fuel and 39 lbs. injectors...

Stock injectors are in another city on some guy's Cavalier.

No, no stock injectors, and the rails are not included as I have them plumbed for my turbo setup now.

The injectors in the photos are the 39 lbs units. They are out of a '02 Grand Prix GTP, and flow 36 lbs at 48 psi and ~38-39 lbs at 58 psi (LSx pressure). I used these with a heads/cam car on e85 and was at ~75% duty cycle at stoich A/F (or about 30% more fuel than it would be on gas). They were run back through on gas before I pulled them.

If somebody just wants the injectors, I'll take 85 obo shipped for them.

Hey, I can't buy this from you at this point in time. I do have some questions if you don't mind?

Was it everything you were looking for in performance? By that I mean was it still streetable? Did it Give you the "street performance" you wanted while still being great at the drag strip?

I've been looking at these sort of setups myself because I'm very happy with my stock LS1/4L60E, but when I race I'm about 150 to 200 HP short of the guys I want to beat and 550 HP is just not practicle on the street IMHO. I like my DD as it is at this point(and so does my lil lady) I dont want her able to have 550 HP at her finger tips lol!!! But I cant "NOT" let her drive it ocasionally either.

I've been considering a combo of this and methenol/water for the strip( for the soul purpose of being able to turn off the power). What is your input, would you go that route again? Or is the turbo more "streetable"?

Is it worth the money to go this route or will I feel a bit, I dont know, short changed on the investment side?

Thanks for your input in advance cause I know you will share it, your here and thats what we do here!

Well, I can't comment on the turbo, and I never hit it with this kit, only the smaller ~125 shot. That was very streetable, and I was spraying through an automatic at the time. I built this kit, tested everything, filled the bottle, then bought a turbo. LOL.

The biggest thing that bothered me about nitrous was refill cost. I don't mind paying it, but for what I was going to be spending per summer to hit it whenever I wanted, I could buy a turbo setup, so I did.

Mind you, turbos = $$$ if you want to do it correctly. If you are easy on the spray, it's definitely the cheaper route. If you hit it with 200 HP 5x every weekend, it's not.

Got some interest going on, not sold just yet.

Everything but the intake is off the car now.

Thanks for the input. I've been researching this setup as well as a turbo, and just heads and cam type stuff too. In the end a new cam and that direction appears to be the "cheaper route", but I'd have to give up that daily driver part with everything accept the N20, So I guess its a tough call.

My girlfriend can handle the car as it is now, but with that much power I dont think she'd be able to handle it anymore. And its so much fun now, I really don't want to reck that part.

Good luck on the sales!
