I love Resto Mod 510's they are soooooo cool.

Was there an AutoX there too? Noticed Hoosiers. and come Solo2 stickers floating around.

What is the carbon fiber thingy.......looks very interesting, noticed the motor looks to be passenger mounted.

The carbon Fiber Car was a 73' Honda z600 that had a Hyabusa motor side mounted. The guy who built it was really cool, and talked to my boss and I about the build for a good 20 minutes. That thing has some crazy engineering in it, since it started life as one of these -

Anyway, the show was awesome! (Especially since the car we brought won best RHD car of the show) Here's a few pics I took -

One of the founders of D-1 Drift hanging out of the 76' Laurel we brought down (doing the drift spin lasso motion) with my boss behind him -

A 240 with a VG motor from a 350z in it -

Oldest car at the show - 1936 (I think that was the year) nissan -

A few of the maybe 10 1st Gen Rx-7s at the show.

Me with the baddest first gen at the show, and maybe anywhere else -

Overall I was disappointed with the turn out for first gens - they were either very nice because they had never been driven and had no miles, or were beat down RHD cars in need of serious body and interior work. Weak. I have decided to bring my car down for next years show. With the amount of anti piston crap I saw (T-shirts, stickers, and even an entire vendor booth dedicated to anti piston, pro rotor gear) I cant wait to piss off all the tards down there in 364 days time. The funny thing is all the real Japanese people (people straight from Japan who speak English as a second language) that put the show on and attend the show will love the car, they go ape shit for any motor with a displacement over 4.0....

im pretty sure thats a honda N600.... (right engine drive?) honda made a few little goofy cars like that and i believe this model was one with a chain driven drive train...(s500's had them too.) might be why the funky motor setup... all im saying is the car is bad ass but you prolly need a fire suit to drive it

The N600 was a 2 door saloon, like a mini -

I used to own two of them, a 72 and a 71. They have 2 cylinder air cooled 4 speeds in them, badass little cars but slow as hell.

The Z600 was the hatch back model with the funky rear on it, which is what the fiber car was based on -

I ended up selling mine because I could not get any parts for the motor for a rebuild, no classic honda guys would touch it because it was a motorcycle engine, and no cycle guys would touch it because it was a car.

haha yes... that is definetly up there on my crazy swap dream car list.... i just dont know what to do about the trans though... i think the motorcycle gears would be too tall or not work well but the stock tranny would be useless with any level of power....
