Default Solstice/Sky R.I.P.

GMI Exclusive: Kappa II Platform Axed From R&D - GM Inside News Forum

I hear the Solstice/Sky platform will be discontinued. Will this decision affect your plans to make a LSx kit for this platform ?

These things are cool! I don't know why they'd do that. They sold like hotcakes, used a fuel efficient engine, and beat miatas all day at SCCA/NASA events.

We will probably still support the platform. I have a car set aside for the project already. I'm surprised to see them cut the line, but I understand the reason behind it.

A Sky with a LS would be wicked. The car has really nice lines. Good to hear you guys are going to run with this

Sure would. I got a pic of the Mallett conversion. It's VERY expensive, I'm sure Brian could do better.
