Road america would be a great place to have a meet and not just because it's an hour from me, practically walking distance from Ray and Mr. Coleman
Elkhart lake is absolutely gorgeous in the summertime, there is fine dining, hotels etc. There is also a nice dragstrip 75 minutes to the south.
The only catch is that it is tough to get weekend tracktime in summer. I could check with the bimmer and porsche club guys to see what days they have next year?
Otherwise we could do something around the alms(Howard's annual rotary gathering), cart or other big races. Some of the events allow "touring" where you can drive your car on the track for 20 minutes for $50.
